Hend(e)rik Eggel(en)meijer (also: Eggelmeyer) was born in Kapelle near Tecklenburg in Germany. He was married op 30 April 1782 in Rotterdam. His bride was Gerritje Zeijlmans.
Cornelis Zeijlmans and Niesje van Heijmsberge had a daughter Gerritje baptized on 28 September 1755 in Rotterdam with witnesses Gerrit Boudewijns and Adriaentie van Heijnsbergen. That's likely the baptism of Hendrik's bride. That couple also had a daughter Johanna baptised on 27 June 1747, who likely is the widness at the baptism of Gerritje's 2 eldest daughters. Gerritje and Johanna also had a sister Cornelia who was baptized on 20 August 1752 in Rotterdam, and witnessed the baptisms of Gerritje's children Cornelia and Cornelia.
